I'm Coach Rich Thurman (RT3)

I was born and raised in San Francisco, which these days is a rarity. I’ve been a coach, educator and business owner for over 20 years. From working with busy executives and youth athletes in the Bay Area, to working with Diplomats, Hoteliers and Expat businessmen and women in Bangkok, I’ve been blessed with rich experiences.

Like many coaches, I've always been an athlete.

In my youth I played football, track & field, and soccer, and as an adult I've continued with recreational basketball, cycling, and running.

I also still enjoy lifting weights, practicing Animal Flow, swinging a Steel Mace around from time to time, and hiking with my family.

Mobility is your Foundation

Most people, including myself in my earlier days as an athlete, trained our body like bodybuilders. On top of that we often paid little attention to Mobility and Flexibility, and I know firsthand what neglecting this foundational aspect of training leads to.

I've worked to overcome my own Mobility issues, which often led to compensations and injuries when they weren’t addressed.

Our Joint Health is the most important aspect of our training. A joint that doesn't move well and limits range of motion, limits your ability to optimize your training, and move through life in ways that you enjoy.

“Nobody wants to get rich slowly.”
