Optimize Your Performance with Personalized In-Person Private Training

Mobility Training is Strength Training

The Traditional Model of exercise, Strength & Conditioning is attempting to hold on to the past. We look to the future and the progression of Training using the Internal Strength Model approach. Your journey to a better version of yourself starts inside of you.

Working with Rich for the last 3 (and a bit) years has changed the way I think and how I move. We originally met to address a catastrophic shoulder injury, but Rich’s practice of addressing the whole body has led me to reassess everything from how I lift to how I run and bike. I thought I was slowing down, but really I was just limiting my ranges.”

Private Training

It all begins with a commitment to yourself. Maybe you’ve been thinking about hiring a personal trainer for some time. Maybe you want to turn finally move past those nagging joint issues and get a fresh perspective on your training. Or maybe you just want to live your best life into your prime years.

Does this sound like you? There are millions of potential outcomes for your future self, but your story is not written in the past. However what you do in the present will shape your future. If you read those words and the voice in your head agrees, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do and that a guide is all you need.

  • One to One

One to one Personal Training and Coaching gives you way more than you’ll ever get in any group class. The problem with a lot of cookie cutter group classes with their Bootcamps and Theories is that they lack specificity. No one is there to take your personal needs, limitations and previous injuries into account.

  • In Studio

I work with Personal Training in San Francisco at Kauno SF Physical Therapy in the Inner Richmond. The facility provides ample space and high quality Strength Equipment in an intimate environment that’s never crowded and always welcoming.

  • In Home

I provide limited In-Home Personal Training in Hillsborough and Burlingame to clients who mostly have their own home gym and/or space that can be used for activity. This allows the ultimate in privacy, convenience and efficiency as you don’t have to travel. This service is slightly more exclusive and reserved for clientele seeking a bit more privacy.

My family and I have been working with Coach Rich now for over 4 years.  I came to him with a newly diagnosed medical condition and Rich helped guide me on a path that has strengthened my body and as a result, also my mind.

My husband is an athlete and their work together has enabled him to continue to do the sports he loves.

Both of my girls are serious athletes (soccer and volleyball) and as their bodies are growing, injuries are common.  Rich began working with them on injury prevention. My girls love the sessions and have benefit tremendously from strength training.

Bridging the Gaps between Training, Rehab and your Active Lifestyle

How we Collab!

  • Training is ALWAYS an Assessment. Every client begins with some form of joint specific assessments to give us an entry point for training. In order to plot a path to your point B, we have to establish point A.

This is one of the biggest missing aspects of many training programs and sessions. Exercise and Physiology is a science so it should make sense that we use scientific methodology in our practice.

  • Many coaches and trainers approach training like a dictator. They shout out orders and simply expect you to follow.

We work together to help you learn and grow. Much of the time is spent helping you learn more about your body, training inputs and outcomes and how you can gain more control of yourself. I want my clients to be curious and excited about learning and growing. My goal for every client is for them to feel confident identifying BS and able to point people they know and love on the right path.

  • I work closely with Therapists in studio and often take on clients who’ve been discharged and looking to grow beyond Physical Therapy.

We can work closely with your Physical Therapist to implement a continuum of training in order to help you navigate training and continue to progress.
